i will start:

If you want to spy on a conversation, pair your Bluetooth headphones and go to record section of your phone and begin recording. Walk away and you will be recording the whole thing through the mic of those headphones.

If your boss takes his or her lunch break at noon, you take yours 11, that’s a double lunch break for you!

If you have a mole you want removed and don't want to go to the doctor just use some toe nail clippers.

If you're not stingy about brands of hot sauce, ask taco bell for as much fire sauce that they'll give you, I've received shopping bags full.

Walk right by the atm out front of your local grocery store (that more than likely has at least a $2 charge on it). Walk to the candy aisle and get one piece of butterscotch. Go buy it and get cash back. That $2+ atm fee just turned in to 5 cents and you have a butterscotch.

If there's a red circle or arrow on the video's thumbnail, don't click it

That's an absolute waste of time. First off, who still pays ATM fees period? Second, who needs cash back? Third, all purchases should be on credit to max out the rewards.

First, I guess people with what you would consider a bad bank. Second, yes no one on Earth needs cash, ever. Third, see second.

Glad you caught the joke that is the post

Thanks for your addition to the thread

New hack: if you're on your man period, don't get mad, get glad

*edit*
You seriously can't think of ONE situation where you NEED cash, not counting times some would want cash? What a boring, unimaginative life. You know what, I'll give you $10 for every situation you would need and/or want cash over debit/credit. Unfortunately for you, the payment will be in cash

I was thinking the opposite, as in who uses cash? I have had the same $20 bill in my wallet for months. Even further, who goes to the bank? Cant you deposit your plasma check with your phone?

I'll limit the few examples I'll post to legal purchases.

You know many strippers that take credit/debit?

Maybe people don't trust bartenders/barbacks or they're worried about forgetting their card and choose to pay cash at bars.

I was taught for the first drink at a bar, order the bartender a shot and tip with a 5 or 10 on the spot; the bartender will take care of you every time they see you at the bar regardless of who has been waiting for a drink longer.

Another bar one, what if there's an "all you can drink" scenario for x amount of dollars. You're gonna put that cover charge on your card at the door? I'm sure the people in line behind you won't mind waiting for your card to go through (if the people at the door have the ability to charge a card)

Maybe some people like to go out for meals and pay for the food with card and tip the server in cash so they don't have to claim the tip at the end of the shift.

What about if you want to tip someone even though you're not completing a transaction with them at that exact time? For example, your lawn guys, a mechanic that worked on your car and found a problem that you couldn't figure out, or a tow truck driver.

I agree with putting as much as you can of your monthly expenses on your cash-back credit card. I've scored big with mine the past couple of years. I rarely ever use cash.

Couple of financial ones -

Microsoft rewards sends gives points for searches. Comes out to about 50 cents a day but only takes about 2 minutes to complete. After a few months I have enough to get $50 amazon gift card

My health insurance company offers $150/yr/person for making "healthy choices" - like seeing a doctor, working out or losing weight. Each January my wife and I get $300 in gift cards to blow on something.

Bonuses for opening online savings accounts can be very profitable. I think the companies have wised up though and now require direct deposit which makes it more of a pain.

Buy items on a good credit card to extend your warranty, just got $650 back from Citibank for a washer that needed major repairs. It was out of warranty but Citi doubles the warranty period.

Many credit cards offer extended warranties.

I have a citi and didnt know that. I use it for my business tho.
It double warranties up to like 4 years on everything except vehicles and things attached to a house like heat pumps.

For businesses might be restricted.

Cash is king here in Vegas. Try placing a bet or tipping a valet/cocktail waitress/dealer with a card...unimaginable.

Order a Costco pizza over the phone, go pay inside at the regular register at the shortest line possible, pick up pizza at the side window and skip the long food court line.

Any restaurant I go to I always ask for water, then they come and take our order for food, I order then wait till food arrives, that is when I ask for a soft drink, it accomplishes 2 things.

1) Doing this I drink more water than soda (good for health)
2) I never get charged, the waiter never goes back and adds it to the bill, they just grab a cup and give me soda.
