DDM tuning is so 2011, I'm amazed that company even exists anymore. They used to be the king of the poverty beam market back in the day but they got totally BTFO when TRS took over the scene with real retrofits.

If you don't want to use second hand OEM ballasts your best bet is to stick with the Morimoto stuff.

Are you looking for oem replacement options? Doing a retrofit? If they are going into a car without the proper projectors, I would highly recommend a full retrofit.

I probably will eventually but the stock projectors are actually really good for HIDs in my daily.

Run the Morimoto from TRS in my Sierra and love love love them. Had some initial install hiccups once because I swapped the headlights as well but they helped me through it all with ease and were great customer service wise. Was a 400% improvement. Get compliments all the time on them. Really wasn't overly pricey either. Maybe $250 if I recall.

As many others have mentioned TRS will have the quality parts parts that you're looking for. I haven't played too much with led headlights, however, I'm very familiar with hid headlights. If I were you, I would stay with a 35w kit and optional relay harness. The relay harness will make installation much easier also. Worth it in my opinion. Good luck with everything. Post up when you're finished.

They are 35w 5500k bulbs on 35w Canbus ballasts. Problem is they are the thick ones and it’s hard to mount anything in this engine bay lol. Everything was plug n play with no relay harness.

Alright, I don't wish aids upon you if you have projectors. Halogen projectors won't be as optimized as an HID projector of course, but more importantly you most likely will not be projecting glare at oncoming drivers.

I know I've seen a few H7 halogen projectors throw HID light pretty well.

I have them aimed pretty low and haven’t been flashed yet. Even had a friend help me test out with on coming traffic.
