We have a line on a 120k + mile 5.4 Raptor. Please throw your opinions in here. Good the bad or ugly. Thanks

If you are going as far as doing a 6.2 swap you are far better off buying a 2011 ecoboost or 5.0 and installing a real long travel kit.

Of course it depends on condition. Is there a pull the trigger price?

I like the way you think. That's the first thing I thought. I really like the 6.2, from experience.

$15k if it's nice.

That seems like it would add up quickly in time and money. I have some money, short on time.
As anything, it can certainly get out of hand but the bolt in stuff offered nowadays is relatively quick and easy. The first gen raptor suspension is really nothing to be excited about so the whole process of doing a motor swap is seriously not worth it IMO.

I'm going to check it out, and keep that 15k in mind. Thanks for the feedback.

Has minimal upgrades. Used as a DD. Any signs of rust will be a deal killer for sure.

There is no way around that, especially on the East coast.
