Time to replace the fuel pumps. I am looking for stock replacement. The Motorcraft are crazy expensive. Is there a direct replacement that flows the same LPH but easier on the wallet?

Thanks!

That Holley kit isn't for the 03/04's. It's for the single pump set ups. The Carter one looks right, but I'd take it with a grain of salt. I've seen replacement pumps on eBay and Amazon as well.

This set up from Spectra looks promising as a direct replacement.

I was also looking at this set up from Quantum. It flows twice as much as stock. I have asked them about current draw and any modification that might be needed to the fuel pump delivery module. Their response was that it would not be required. It is tempting. I have been searching but cant find any confirmation of the claim.

Higher flowing Walbro pumps are usually about the same price or cheaper then stock (on most of my other rides), why not check them out?

You mean the Walbro GT's? about $120 a piece. I am fairly certain that they will need the FPDM to be modified for the current draw. I have nothing against Walbro, just didn't want to have to mess with anything else.

Not that I am trying to cheap out, but, the Spectra set is about $170. The Quantum is $130. Quantum has lifetime guarantee.

I've been running GT pumps on a stock FPDM for years. Granted they're the older style that aren't E85 compatible. I do have the upgraded wire running to the FPDM, but I'm currently running stock wires from the FPDM to the pumps.

I ran these pumps in my 01 for a while with no wire upgrade as well.

And if those pumps do flow that much more than stock you might need to have the fuel pump voltage table tweaked. Food for thought.

I'd pass on both of those, if you want higher flowing pumps
AEM 320's.

I wouldn't bother with the AEM's in a stock hat. Does it work? Yep. Could it work better? Yep. Of course having a new pump die within a couple months might also have made me a little bitter.

I went ahead and ordered the Quantum QFS-344FT-1033. We'll see how they fit and operate. Performance and price seem almost too good to be true.

Hope they work out for you, I'd be paranoid about going cheap on fuel pumps. One of them not putting out the pressure it should could run you lean is enough to keep me away.

I picked up two bare pumps brand new to keep as spares. Not always necessary to buy the whole assembly.

I did install these. Working just fine. Dyno’ed the car at 405 rwhp and 425 tq with them. Had to disable my boost-a-pump because I had so much flow. All seems to be working fine.

cool! I have still have the stock ones in it but I bought these just in case since they are now almost 17 years old.
I have 700 rwhp and I have the boost a pump.
So if i replace them I wondering if I still need it since my car requires pretty high fuel pressure.

how are you liking those Quantum pumps and how did they work for you? I'm pretty sure I need pumps and I don't want to have to modify anything either just a plug-and-play but I don't want to break the bank if I don't have to. I've seen someone Rock Auto 4 like 40 bucks and another one for about 63 bucks. So what they are I think one is a Gpm and the other is I forgot what the name it brand is what I'm thinking they should be okay what do you think?
