Mecum Auction Louisville

I went to the Mecum Auction inn Louisville today and I was exxtremely disapointed in the small number and quality of the cars for sale. I didn't count them all but the hall was at least half empty, compared to last year I would say a 50% decline in cars.
Did anyone else on here attend? Your opinion?

Here is a list of all of the lots. I wouldn't say it's a shabby list. Maybe not a lot of big dollar exclusives, but I see a lot of nice cars on the docket.

I have never been impressed with Mecum. They have a lot of shit come through.

Edit: flipping through the list it is even worse than I thought. It looks like a BK auction. Jesus.

- Was the auction same time last year?
- How many years have they held the auction there?
Maybe the area market is temporarily slowing up in that area?
I see some great looking vehicles listed. This is so cool...

They look a lot better on TV and in the catalogue than they do in person. I think the majority are bought, patched up, crappy paint job, and auctioned for a quick flip. there were a few real collector cars there, very few.
I talked with a local dealer that owns a museum and he bailed on the event after last year.
It took me less than an hour to walk through the entire thing and that included the cars still there from Friday.
I had a roll in my pocket to buy a car but I didn't even stay for lunch.

It seems from watching them on tv that the cater to a lower class of cars then does BJ. A few went high dollar but most were in the reasonable range telling me they were nothing really special.
