engine build question

I am getting ready to build a forged motor for my 97 Cobra and have a few questions for those of you that have went this route. The motor will likely keep the factory cams although they will get degreed in, also I will be running on e85 and pushing around 16-17lbs of boost with my KB 2.1
1: do I need to upgrade over a new factory timing set or is the factory stuff good enough?
2: are the gt500 rockers worth the money or should I stick with a new set of factory?
3: I will have a ported set of B heads but again will most likely run factory cams so what would you recommend as far as valve springs,retainers, & locks go?

My engine builder used stock timing set with oversized timing pins, updated chain guides, updated crank gear and trigger.
