Is the shelby 350 market all out of whack?

GT350s will go down because they are in their four and a half year of production.

Hope so, I don't really care what the reason is as long as they dip some. High 30's low 40's is much more appealing than the current high 40's low 50's they are in now

Right - gt350 is dropping in price on its own. GT500 has no effect on it because buyers are looking for what that car was made to do. A GT500 person doesn't really care to have a 350.
With regard to values, the 13/14 GT500 market value has actually increased with the 2020. I think people see the outrageous cost, and know you can get a low miles 13/14 for $50k 's.

I have been seeing some in this price range but while I still owe on my F150 I cant swing the payment on both hence the 18 month time frame I was looking to get one. Id love to have one now but I've already been waiting since last summer when I started this push to get another Mustang. I was looking really hard at the Terminators but the GT350 and that Voodoo 5.2 has swung me to this this side.

Watch what you buy and do your research on the 5.2 FPC issues. That will help you decide.

I'm well aware of the issues and hopefully the ones that are having problems are sorted out under warranty. Its also a crap shoot buying an 18 yr old Terminator when I get to that point so its kinda like pick your poison. Id rather have the more modern and updated technology VS one where I've had the same exact interior for the previous 3 Mustangs.

Personally, I would lean more towards a Bullitt over the GT350. Less engine issues to be concerned with, and very close in performance for what you will most likely be using it for...

That's what is so great about the Mustang line up. So many good options to choose from and you can really narrow it down to your own personal taste and what you want. I know personally what criteria I've built my decision around but its great to have a multitude of options available.

Why not go with a 13/14 GT500 then?

Its a consideration but only if the GT350 does not work out. I really want something more for cornering and handling and track days if I ever decide do to any more so than one built for more straight line power. I built my last 94 Cobra that way and want something different this time.

seems to be quite a bit of 350 owners selling or trading trying to get into a 500, would that sheer number of extras on the market not make them dip even a little in value?

i get they’re different cars, but seems many just want the next shelby...no matter what it is

I thought about the 350. They look and sound awesome. Since it would only see street duty the torque curve would be a huge disappointment coming from a 500.

I don't know, my 19 GT with the 10R80 is a hoot. My 08 is down at DB Performance getting new cams, I have vacuum again, LOL. Tell Danny hello if you stop by!

This guy showed up with a 14 GT500 Black on Black MINT with like 10K miles at Cars and Coffee. SEXYYYYYY. I tried to get him to make a bad decision and trade me but he was no sucker. In a way....I kinda feel that was the last Ford Mustang "Muscle" car, it's ok if you don't agree with me.

Then this is an easy decision, you absolutely do not want a GT500. I've been doing track days for years and building track cars for years, already prepared for someone to quote this and tell me how good their GT500 is
