Its not that simple. But if your ok with people losing there jobs at the big 3 auto makers that must make it ok. Tesla will be more than happy to add to there sales and maybe actually make a profit.

Honestly its a good thing trump is stepping. This could force CA hand and keep from auto sales dropping and possible job lose.

A Ferrari and Lamborghini and the others dont fall into the same restrictions as your mass production vehicle. There sales would not be impacted.

Think of how many jobs KA has negatively effectively impacted thanks to the obtuse line of thinking by the Stalin-esque politicians in the state.

My respect would be earned if someone (business, person, other) stood up and said enough is enough when it comes to KA.

Wait until I show up with an MCI bus RV conversion with a Sreamin' Jimmy in the back. Turns diesel fuel into smoke and noise (and a small amount of power), and is perfectly legal in CA.
Make it run a 12 in the 1/4 and maybe i'll like it

That would be Toyota as they packed up and relocated in Houston with their HQ there.

I was just in Cali for 2 weeks, there were a TON of loud exhaust.
There also a ton of people there. CHP officers could literally pull people over their entire shift for loud exhaust and still not make a dent. Its purely a profit generating law, just as most of their bullshit laws are. **** California.

I never thought Id see the day they left CA. But, even mighty Toyota Motor Sales said "Nah, this shit is whack". They moved to Plano, TX and frankly I think its going to help them get even better in North America.

Problem with that is that auto makers would lose millions of dollars and people would lose there jobs. California sales alot of vehicles. Then you would essentially give the market to tesa i n ca
They can barely keep up with current production demands. They would NOT be able to be a sole supplier. Not even close.

I agree. But dont think for one minute that our people in power in Ca wouldn't find a way to send free money to Tesla for more production if needed in a situation like stated that none of the big 3 would sell cars in ca anymore. IM no fan of Tesla but they employ a good amount of people in norcal. I hate to see hard working people losing there jobs.

Doesn't change the fact that there are loud exhaust there. Every damn Challenger, Charger, Mustang, Camaro, 370z, (enter performance car) lol, I came across had loud exhaust. Didn't matter is it was 4 cylinder, v6, or v8....90% of them were loud.

Donald Trump can....and he needs your vote.
I'm the biggest Trump supporter around here LOL. For realz. But seriously, CA is far from ****ed. Few more months and I'm moving out of state. Took me 32 ****ing years to come to my senses LOL. Few more years, and CA car guys will have NOTHING for their cars. No exhaust, no SCs, no tunes, no intakes, NOTHING. I have a friend at the air board. And trust me my friends, CA is beyond ****ed when it comes to smog. And that's only 1 issue out of 10,000 LOL. Bye Bye Kali, I hope you die a slow and painful death. All you CA guys .....get out while you can.

bro, no one can help CA. It's ran by the Nazis in SFO. CA makes its own laws and says **** the feds. They don't care about our votes, this shit is super rigged. Newsom is going to DESTROY this state for 8 years. I don't care any more. I'm ****ing bailing out.

I wish auto manufactures would all at once decide to stop wasting time and R&D on a completely different set of Commiefornia emission standards and just stop selling cars in that state. Sure, they’d lose quite a few sales at first. But once the wealthy hypocrites in that state realize they can’t just walk down Rodeo Dr and buy another Ferrari, something tells me Trump wouldn’t have to get involved at all. They themselves would demand the state fall in line.

That just isn't feasible. About 2 million new vehicles get sold a year in California. The automakers couldn't afford to lose that many sales all at once. Plus, there are other states that use California's air standards, so even more sales would be lost.

However, I am glad Trump is taking away California's ability to set their own standards. I hope he can set a federal standard that is actually sane and not retarded like California.

Hopefully you find somewhere that will work out better for you. I hear texas in some areas are getting pretty expensive to buy.

I’m not saying it’s likely or even feasible. I’d just like to see it.

To accomplish what? To watch GM ask for another bail out they already have? Or go bankrupt like Chrysler did and would more then likely do it again. Ford in there state would more then likely need a bail out or go bankrupt. I just dont see how your thought would play out well at all.
