Hey everybody I’m going to install the new vmp triple pass dual fan heat exchanger in the driveway. is it pretty easy to install like how it is in the video? Will be working on the car in the next few hours when it cools down outside. and I have a really stupid question to ask, does the car need to be hot or cold? Or it doesn’t matter. I Appreciate all advice guys!

Better to have the car cold for draining the coolant in the reservoir tank and OE exchanger.

Mine installed pretty easily, I had watched the install videos tons of times you shouldn't have any issues.

It should be an easy install, straight forward like the video.
and as Cman01 mentioned, you need to have your car cold to drain the coolant.

It's not like coolant temps in the heat exchanger reach scalding temperatures, if you don't have the option to let it cool down.
