Dammit, I'm getting tired of this! But, what to do. Our rockers are getting old and dying off. Then end of rock n roll. There is no one left to take their place. I'm a big Cars fan. I'm glad they at least got their Hall of Fame induction.

It sucks watching all of your rock heroes die over time.

Ocasek produced albums by Weezer, Bad Religion, Bad Brains, Suicide, Nada Surf, and had display pieces at multiple Art Shows. The man was an artistic force. I was truly bummed when Ben Orr got taken out by cancer, and this hits just as hard.

RIP Ric

So many great parties with thier music playing as the soundtrack. I think it speaks to how transcendent they were when we were in our late teens/early 20's in the early 2000's playing Cars albums at parties at the river, ect.

Their music still holds up very well.

Sad news. I read about it this morning. The Cars had a unique and great sound IMO, especially Ric.
