After I noticed my A/C system wasn't cooling, I figured that it just needed recharged. I was refilling my A/C system and per instructions with the car on and all of a sudden my radiator coolant tank started spewing coolant out of the cap. I let the car cool for about 15 minutes and then fired it back up to test a theory. Sure enough, the radiator fan didn't kick on. Ok, simple replacement to the 2013-14 GT500 radiator fan (which came with a new harness).

My issue is that when I pulled the old assembly out, the connector from the engine loom is burned up as well. Anyone experienced this and what was done to fix the connector? I can't imagine that I'd have to replace that entire loom, but I can't find the part number for the connector and pins. Any help would be awesome. Picture for reference.

Literally just happened to me a few weeks ago. My fan died in traffic in Phoenix midday heat (110F ambient).

Got my car fixed under Carmax warranty so the Ford dealer handled all of it. But they did say they replaced the harness connector with a replacement pigtail connector. I know you're in Italy, but a Stateside Ford dealer should be able to look up the pigtail connector for you. Ill check my paperwork and see if they listed any part numbers.

I just got back stateside, so I ordered the 2013-14 radiator fan which came with the harness and resistor, and then i ordered the other side harness with pigtails. A little cut and splice, some heat shrink, and kind of good to go.

I say kind of good to go, because voltage is one of the parameters I monitor on my nGauge, and before everything happened, in normal operations, the voltage was somewhere around 13.8. Now, until the car warms up, the voltage is 13.8, but once the coolant gets hot, the voltage is 13.4. I have a feeling that the low speed fan circut is messed up, which is why the high speed fan wire connection burned up. I just haven't got all my tools from Italy yet, so I can't check.

I've read of some guys on the S197 forum installing a relay to control the fans due to this issue. Might be something to research.
