I don't watch much TV at all, but I used to really enjoy watching the Speed channel in 08/09 while doing cardio after work. I found out last week that the Speed channel has been dead for 6 years, and Fox Sports 1 picked up some of their lineup. I checked out FS1 and it looked like a crap hodgepodge. Is there a modern day equivalent to the speed channel, or has the entire automotive media world turned into trust-fund-kid Youtube brag videos?

Most of SpeedChannel's old lineup has gone to NBCSN with the exception of F1 which is now on ESPN, of all places.

But are there any motorsports-only channels/streams that don't shove in ball sports?

I think Velocity may be motorsports only, but I can't remember for sure. Aside from that, I think the answer is no.

I'll give that a shot! My wife has recently told me she wants to get more into automotive, so we're trying to find shows that might help keep the motivation going. Something about watching drag racing... It's like a motivational boost to get the projects in the garage completed.

I have the MotorTrend OnDemand app. Its 4.99 a month but it has damn near every auto program you could want. Including every season of Top Gear. All the discovery shows are included as well. Well worth it as its all i watch.

MAV TV, bruh.. Mostly dirt track, short rack, drag boat, garden tiller racing lol

They fill open spots with UFC fights...

Velocity is mostly "car shows" like Gas Monkey etc everytime I click on it, not much actual racing or racing coverage, analytics.

I keep www.racingtvschedule.com pulled up on my phone always. Its a great way to catch everything you want.
