Due to the thick solid flange the dip stick doesn't sit flush anymore. What do you guys do in this situation, just put a little spacer behind it? Is there some thing I'm over looking here? I was a few beer in and didn't really mess with it at all.

My installer cut the ARH header flange to accommodate the dip stick.

Thanks guys, seems the general consensus is you bend the tube. My stock tube got mangled by a piece of flying engine block when the rod let go (*sigh* long story). I actually found a decent price Ford NOS tube so I'm not looking to beat it up. Might try a spacer and longer bolt and see if it clears everything. If not a soft face dead blow and some hope, or a flexi aftermarket is in order.

Still open to additional ideas if anyone has a better thought...

Not really looking to take it back off and cut the flange, not to mention void any warranty / support. Then again both collector were oval'd out and the mid pipe legs didn't fit, their response was "eh, some get by us" so not thinking warranty is an issue.

I used a small Aluminum spacer and a longer bolt on mine. It works great and didn't affect anything.

Sounds like a cop-out from over here. For what they charge for their stuff there shouldn't be any fitment issues or compromises.
