Too bad their camaro team coudnt do the same, should have gotten a new design team and made a new camaro still on the Alpha chassis. Without the camaro the mustang may be stagnant. Which is probably why we have a 4225lb gt500. Hope they plan something good for return of the camaro.
I mean we already know competition brings out the best, but without competition we may be stuck with 1 choice, or an expensive choice. Perfect example is nvidia and intel. both charge crazy prices for video cards and cpus. With AMD around, the consumer has a choice, and really, **** intel/nvidia for charging 1k for a cpu and 1k for a video card, shit is crazy.
besides 1/4 mile what other things is it good for? smoke shows? The GT500 will do that and more.
It is actually meant to carry 4 people (in comfort), unlike the 500. Actually, make it 5. It’s a badass cruiser. Very very easy to make cross country trips in.

That said, head over to hellcat.org and you will find those guys think the redeye competes (and bests) EVERYTHING. I had some guy telling me that a RE could hang with a z06 on the track.....

A ZL1 1LE that is substantially lighter than the GT500 and at a far better price.
A C8 that an average person can actually buy versus a Ford GT that is all but unobtainable.

You are aware plenty of people road course them as well and have gobs of positive things to say. In the average persons hands it literally will make little to no difference which car they pick.

Yeah, I dunno. My hellcat drives like a UPS truck. I will say that it brakes like a mother****er. Super impressive brakes + 8A downshifting is brutal.
