Bullshit, it has typos. Never mind that picture reportedly came from an engineer’s log.

You realize you just made my point?

How hard did you search to "prove me wrong" only to find numbers that don't show any mid-engine sports car with a 40/60 weight distribution.

41.5 <> 40, especially when dealing with the handling of sports cars.

Performance Data and Complete Specs

59.3 rear on the new FGT...****ing genius I tell you.

Diablo Mike already destroyed that argument.... see his posts.

Don’t see where he destroyed anything. He questioned my opinion on it and has been respoding to someone else.

Sorry, got you all mixed up. Diablo Mike destroyed Pop’s argument and you replied to Mike’s with none.

You said this... but your argument totally forgot about price. Corvette is giving you a super car at a blue collar price.

With that though, you would think Chevrolet would benchmark against those vehicles that it will compete with. Why would they sell a less than stellar example when they have all the development time in the world to make it better.

Im not saying your wrong, im saying that GM screwed the pooch knowing those cars are already out and they have the jump to make their car better in every aspect.

Interesting read for sure. I’m curious though. When has any mid engine car been at 50/50 weight distribution? Nit picking minuscule details will not diminish what this car is going to be. Sorry guys.

Mmmmmm......ricer logic. Can you smell it?

The only thing I smell is the stupidity of stating that GM is selling a “less than stellar example” while comparing it to a Ferrari 488 and McLaren 650 and 675.

My guy, please!

LoL

I wouldnt get hung up on weight distribution, 50/50 being perfect isnt always reality. The best track car in the world by a country mile has a totally retarded distribution and it clearly works. (911)

To be fair, they did move the engine in the RSR from rear to mid. There has to be some advantage to it.

Although it's not going to matter for this thing. You can have fantastic driving/very fast cars with wonky weight distributions.

I'll be curious if this has any off throttle snap oversteer like the 911 used to. I'd really like to drive one on track to see how well it handles weight transfer from modulating the throttle.

True, but the RSR's havent been doing as well in their class as the gt3r's are doing in GTD. The newer cars definitely dont snap oversteer on lift like they were famous for. If the chassis was sub par I wouldnt see like 20 gt3rs every weekend haha.

With the BOP it's impossible to compare advantages with the other cars. But they obviously did it for a reason.

I don't think the chassis has ever really been sub par, I know they mitigated the issues with the recent cars but I still see a ton of 996s at the track.
