So a long overdue update. The car is completely back together but ran into an issue. For some reason the X4 programmer would not communicate with the car no matter what I tried. It was more than 2 years since I updated it so I did. It took roughly 8 hours and my dyno session was the next morning. So after the update, it wouldn't communicate and I lost the kenne bell tunes which were not a big deal. So after checking all the install work and the whole calling sct again I quickly gave up because I have been down this road before and am no longer interested in sct. The car ran on the stock tune, just not very well with the sct maf, no egr, long tubes, etc. After a little while I found out about special forces tuning and gave that a try. Well after buying that and a brand new windows laptop, the interface wouldn't communicate with the laptop even after the help from the company. Then I read that hptuners covered my car and tried that. Well it was still not working I think they still have some bugs. So I threw my hands up. Screw It!! Standalone time!! So I knew there was going to be some if not a bunch of wiring so I let someone who knows what they r doing, complete this task. Well several months later it is still not ready. Come to find out, the Holley standalone, is not as plug and play as I thought. There were issues with the alternator, ignition, and now fuel. We went with a switch panel for ignition and start button and am having to go with a return style fuel system. I guess the positive is I can run ethanol and changing out 15 year old wiring and fuel lines might be piece of mind. Oh and I am thinking about a cent. supercharger after the Max Effort N/A engine build but one step at a time. I think the car is almost done, but man oh man. I am ready to Make A lil Power!!

It did get dynoed and made i think around 265/280 on I think 22 or 24 degrees of timing with a 12.5 afr. I have to go back and get a dyno sheet, battery tender, and gas can. Not holding my breath. Also learning the holley software which seems amazing so far. Did go for a test drive and so far so good. Going over everything with a fine tooth comb. Still need to install rear ss brake lines, order rear coil overs, harnesses and bar, maintenance of the front brakes, more tuning, etc.
