Good luck good sir.

Now that he knows how to walk, he's never going to stop walking.

Got to keep a sharper eye on him now. Table edges, slippery floors, etc...Not to mention they walk like they are drunk early on lol.

The drunk like sway while he’s walking is priceless. Also worth note is he like to hang onto our one larger dog and when she’s done with his attention she will just walk away leaving him to eat it hard on the floor lol.

Our did the same with the dog. Dog will take it for a bit then bounce. Had to stay extra close when he would use the dog as a crutch

That is a pretty awesome milestone @My94GT . I inherited one just after he was at that point. But seeing him talking, teething, eating, potty training (just got this one accomplished) and him being a monkey leaping and jumping off of sketchy places.... it's just the beginning.

Congrats! How old is he? I've also been told many times that it's a whole new world when they walk.

Our little guy is 4.5 months and he does what we call the "inch worm crawl". He's still managed to find himself in a couple tight spots including when he crawled in his crib and got his head wedged in the corner and he couldn't lower it back down to the mattress. Luckily his ensuing cries woke us up.

Funny thing is it's not as bad as you might think. After only a couple of weeks he started going to the potty himself. Only other thing we are getting him weened off of is not using the plastic Elmo potty for when he does #2 lol.
I'd say the hardest issue was getting him off of his pacifier (eye roll)

It'll fly by. My oldest started college on Monday. A friend and I were talking and realized we're old now.

That's good stuff OP. Enjoy it, don't be like those parents that are on their phones all the time and miss everything.

My son didn't walk until he was 2. I came home from work one afternoon and he smiled, got up, walked to me, then spent the next 20 minutes walking around the house like he'd been doing it for months. I was lucky and got it all on video. Parenting got easier when he could walk IMO.
