Are those aero pieces supposed to be functional? That's the only way I could even begin to justify them.

I'd like to know as well. My understanding of the rear diffusers is that they are not due to the design of the rest of the undercarriage of the car and how it has to be placed to work correctly.

Flares need to go. The front bolt of the fender flare cant even be attached to the front cover so it is just hanging there. That should have been the first sign that they weren't supposed to be used. Then the wheel arches are already flared out from the factory so you're just tacking on a flare to a flare and they dont line up. Car would look much better without the flares or if someone actually fabricated the original fender to have a slightly larger flare to it. One of my old techs did it on a Honda he was working on. He added on about another inch to inch and a half to the factory flare.

I would put good money on the splitter being a parachute due to not being even remotely done properly. They arent simple and no offence to the builder of that car, but it looks like it was built simple.

Meh. I love a wide square setup but those flares are not right for those body lines. Red headlights (while matching the wheels) are a bit rice.

Splitter/diffuser/spoiler/hood+fender vents MIGHT be functional to some degree. Doubtful diffuser is optimizes without a full flat bottom belly pan which will be hard to do on a SRA car.

I've seen worse, but it has potential.

Adam’d car is quite controversial. All of the aero components are functional, and quite a few people use them for their track setups. His car is built for track use and on the extreme side, but he also makes street focused designs

I wonder how many people just decided to never buy anything from Carters Customs lol

I wouldn’t count him out without looking first. The components are well made and expertly designed for track use. It’s up to you to tie it all together for your car. It worked quite well on my Foxbody.

Fox is nice. Id like to see pics of the underside of the gt, specifically the splitter and how he made that work if possible.

You’re comparing apples to oranges, and you have to realize that.

You didn’t take the flares off an F-350 and try to use fence screws/rivets to hold them on.

Man, you are absolutely right. Done solely to illustrate that with Carters Customs you can build apples or oranges. The components will do either.
