charge Temps keep going high over 140 and car runs like crap then

I can see how the vacuum line could cause it to run like crap, but I don't see how it'll affect the IAT's. If it works, great. But I think you fixed one problem and now have one more to go.

Could be a clogged heat exchanger or dirty intercooler. If he ls pulling the blower for the bolt def clean the intercooler and maybe get it tested at a radiator shop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Interesting...don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone doing that successfully. I’ve never had to, anyways.
