Holy crap. Thank you for posting that video!!!!!

I can't believe this car weighs 4225.

You know what, I think hes on the right track. I am going to cancel my order and just get a 2020 Eco boost and turn up the Turbo real big like.

I figure I can put 40 grand into it and gap 5.0s and GT 500s.

Or maybe I will just get a C8 and be done. But probably not because I'm a ford fan boy.

On an individual level, I like How he accurately describes Ford owners as people who don't drag race or road race and that all real racing people care about is gapping on the roads.

I don't intend to track my car, but I have a couple of hills with twisty 2 lane roads that I can't wait to drive on with this car. :)

A little too much salt on your meat, it appears.

Wouldnt be a bad idea if you landed one under msrp.. you'd make a killing.

I think Alex has no clue as to how many people go to tracks with turns on them.

I dont disagree. Obviously there is a massive group of people who like the turns. But i dont think they will be anywhere near the majority of people buying the car.

I would love to go if I could get over the fear of crashing or possibly causing someone else to crash from being an inexperienced crappy driver.

That is what we call bias confirmation.

Everyone at your track, tracks their car... Well duh
There is a wait list to join the track... Irrelevant.

What matters is the number of people in each of the following three groups compared to the number of cars sold.

1. Guys who will HPDE the car regularly (+4 days a year)
2. Guys that will Street/Strip their car (+4 days a year)
4. Guys that will wax poetically about how orgianl and how few miles they have at gatherings (+4 days a year).

Basis of 4 days is if you do it once a month and on average we have 4 summer months.

I bet Group 1 is a distant 3rd place to the other groups.
He is stuck in the past, sure is exploding with popularity. We have a massive waiting list to get a membership at our track and it keeps growing.

I have seen a few wadded up brand new cars and a lot of crushed feelings... There are certain tracks and events that take a lot of those variables away though if you dont care about giving it your all. Otherwise... Buy a pre made race car off racing junk that already has all the dented fenders
