Hello to all of our friends! We are one step closer and with that being said. It’s one more step towards completion next step is flywheel, clutch and an awesome built tr-3650! After that is TURBO TIME!! I’ll have to say my awesome friend knows how to create a work of art! I’m telling you guys you have to see it in person the blue is absolutely popin this build imo is probably my favorite one we have done so far. Even tho the DSG was sinister with the dark gray and orange-Pearl But that pewter and blue look is unreal!!! One more day with a great friend and awesome feeling of accomplishment, is a feeling that makes me a happy person!!!

That does look great!
This build is of the utmost caliber and I am sincerely looking forward to the updates. It's gonna look KILLER when it's done.
Thanks so much guys!
Factory exhaust manifolds?
Yep, ceramic coated OEM manifolds. Hellion utilizes them for their hotside. I spoke with them at length about using tubular headers and they insisted that they only gained around 7rwhp at 20lbs of boost by switching from the manifolds to headers. Plus the fit is better.

Seems to go along with what a lot of people saying about their very mild gains with LT headers...interesting.

Wanted juuuust a bit of polish from the wheels and engine bay to carry on through the underside of the car so I spent some quality time polishing the driveshaft before we get it in the car in the next day or so. Will contrast all the black nicely. Every detail matters! Turned out pretty nice for being raw aluminum originally.

I'm impressed by that. I like it.

This thread is giving me more and more ideas as I mess with my wimpy little 02 GT.

You spend time polishing the driveshaft and then set it down on the rough concrete. WHY?
If it makes you feel better I "gently" set it on the concrete and wiped it afterwards with a fresh microfiber. We good? lol
He polished the concrete as well.
Plus the side laying on the ground will be installed on the top so you’ll never see it. :)
And I’m in favor of ‘titty city blue’. It’s a weiner of a color.
