My car has done this for a while. 2014 GT, stock clutch, stock driveshaft me shorter. Only does it under braking, worse under hard deceleration from higher speed. No grinding when shifting in any gear, shifts smooth. Never experienced any lockout when shifting at high rpm. Had to speed up and stab the brakes a little harder to get it to do it, which is why there is a cut in the video as I stopped recording and then started back a few minutes later. Anyone ever heard this noise before?

I tried to upload the video to YouTube and the time remaining kept going up, I was out at 29 minutes remaining and only 3 percent uploaded. It's a 22 second video on my phone for crying out loud. If anyone would help me out and post it, pm me your cell and I'll send you the video. Thanks.

It's weird right? 51,000 miles. Let off the brakes and it stops. No noises while accelerating, not even at full throttle and banging gears. Shifts great. It's kind of annoying but it doesn't do it all the time. I also heard a similar noise but shorter, like only one little chirp, when hitting a pretty rough spot on the interstate. Lots of bad patches where pavement is chewed up and one jarred the whole car pretty bad and I heard it then.

Maybe, but it definitely sounds like it is coming from the console/shifter area. I did a Google search a while back and couldn't really find anything similar posted anywhere. As long as it still shifts well I guess it's ok, but I'd love to figure out what it is and fix it. I'm picky about stuff like that.

I've never heard anything like that, either. Sounds more like a mouse moving in a wall. LOL!
