So it came time to sell my Cobra with 2 boys and 1 on the way I just did not drive it. Not because I did not have the want but just no time no room for the boys and I don't need tickets or an accident as when I did drove it I drove it... I sold it to a close friend for 30k so I was happy well she made it 6 days! Got to respect the power he lived but hurting.

Sad I sold it with 11,896 miles after 15 years gone in an instant.

Holy shit, i hope your friend is ok, it doesn't look like anyone walked away from that one. Do actually know what happened?

So....too soon to ask what they’re doing with some of the bits? Like the Whipple and Coil Covers? :)

Looks like the car did its job of protecting the occupants.

He is lucky some how ended up 12 broken ribs and a C7 vertibray smashed like a pop can. The motor was actually not in bad shape so he might keep it as it's a 3.4 whipple with 5k miles and motor o only 12k miles.

I’m amazed he’s alive. That thing is a mangled pile of metal and other various materials of what used to be a car.

Jesus Christ, sorry about the car but glad your friend is okay. Things can be replaced, people cant. Everytime I stretch her legs I think about this kind of thing. Curious to know the situation but probably not best posted online.

Best wishes to your bud.

So lucky. I can’t believe he made it ! Good thing the hit was on the passenger side and I assume no passengers ??

I would say Check that Engine out thoroughly before you put it in anything else. I bought a used motor from a car that took a hit nearly that hard. And ended up the crank nearly shot out the front of the block. All the mains were blown out, thrust bearings laying in the pan ect. I was only able to use the heads.

Good luck, hope your buddy recovers.
