Yes that is the part number. I threw the old man ones out(dumb). I guess I should say the bolt holes don’t line up

this is the same gasket on two different sides/banks. These gaskets have alignment dowels built into them. I would think being made for this motor they would align correct

What year heads are you using, the early intake gasket is different than the 03s

Guess that’s what I’ll be doin, goin to the Ford place. I was just wondering if I wasn’t holding my mouth right or if it was a common problem.

I just installed the Fel-Pros in my car this summer, no issues. Definietely a strange situation you have there. Maybe a quality control issue from Fel-Pro. Good luck getting it sorted.

I just encountered the same issue with 04 aviator heads and these gaskets. Definitely an issue here.

Looks like it for some reason. I guess its worth the money to get some Ford ones. A bit more expensive but you know you'll have the correct part

There's no issue with the gaskets - they have some flex to them and will align once you feed in a bolt or two. The dowels are meant to hold them in place and get them as close as possible, and they'll be set once bolts are in place. Have replaced mine several times and they always have worked perfectly. If you have the FelPro set and decide you need to now buy them from Ford, you'll get the exact same ones.
