Hey

I know that the smaller the sidewall is on a tire, the better the car with corner. My question is:

Would an 18 inch wheel really be THAT much bigger of an improvement to cornering compared to a 17 inch wheel?
Is the lower sidewall worth the extra money on the 18s?

You will only need an 18 inch wheel if you were fitting larger breaks, otherwise you’re better off with a 17 inch wheel for weight savings

Hey thanks for the reply!

So I have the baer 6p kit. currently 13inch rotors but swapping to 14. I know for a fact weld's s-71 17inch wheel does clear this combo with proper offset and pad height.

Im just worried id waste all that money on 17s just to find out 18s are better.

Look at tire availability. Obviously wheel face diameter (16, 17 or 18) but also wheel width. Then make your decision.

I'm running 18/19 right now, and will be switching to 18/18 next year because I can buy Pirelli Slick scrubs a hell of a lot cheaper than the R7s I currently run.
