I've been debating on doing the same thing. I like the idea of the Navos system, but it has a lot of mixed reviews. I've had buddies run the Dynavin systems in other vehicles like BMW etc. For me personally, I might try this Dynavin .

I'd get a metro, scosche, or a-data replacement for the center HVAC/Audio panel and get a full size aftermarket head unit with nav. That's the route I went with an alpine head unit, aftermarket speakers, sub, amp, rear view cam.

The factory nav system leaves some to be desired.... If mine fails I'll be dropping in a double din kit of some sort. Google Maps/Waze capability, audio selection and 911 assist notifications are the biggest complaints of mine.. Everytime I start my car it defaults to Line in, unless I left it on a radio station or CD which problematic if I want bluetooth audio.

I did the OEM navigation and dual zone A/C swap on my ‘13 Boss LS. It is not cheap and is very cumbersome as an install, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I very much prefer a factory appearance throughout my car inside and out. There are some nice aftermarket options but they all are clearly not OEM in fit or appearance.

If you are more interested in modern amenities like CarPlay or screen mirrors, then the swap is not the best option. If you are good with Bluetooth, a CD jukebox, and other 2014 options I would say it’s the best path.

Hey guys, I've been wanting to add a nav screen to my 2014 GT. I'm somewhat torn on whether I should follow this thread (Adding the OEM nav - The Mustang Source - Ford Mustang Forums) or make it easy and go with the Navos unit. Does anyone have any experience with going either route?

If you are looking for OEM look and not OEM price than Navos probably is your only choice now as far as new, you can probably find used raxiom on ebay.

However, they are not going to give you latest tech.

I went with Alpine F309 and metra dash kit that places the HU up top. before that I had MUS-1 kit with a pioneer, functionality was amazing, but having the head unit still too low was not the look i liked, so i switched it up when pioneer randomly died, luckily I bought it from best buy with 4 year warranty and replacement, so they gave a brand new unit of my choice and i covered the difference in price.
Very satisfied with the look now and I have apple car play...and 9" screen.
