Borla, magnaflow, or Bassani catback?

i know this has been hashed a million times. But I don’t want to get the wrong one. I currently have a Bassani off road x and slp catback and it sounds like crap. (I bought it like this)
I’ve been told magnaflow is more subtle deep.
Borla is exotic and loud

Bassani is deep/raspy.

I’m looking for a nice deep sounding exhaust that isn’t too loud that I’m setting off car alarms or getting pulled over. I also still want to beable to hear the whine.

Mild Borla has my vote. Even though I’m planning on Bassani for my Mach.

No, @Revvv can tell you Stingers aren’t quiet if the rest of the exhaust isn’t stock. If it’s available something mild like a Touring.

Stingers with an O/R midpipe. have the ability to wake the dead. For a deep tonez use an H Pipe. For a raspy, modern sound, go with an X. For a compromise, a prochamber wins. The prochamber also dulls the volume a little.

Overall, Stingers sound amazing.

Either will sound amazing.

This is exactly what my car sounds like, minus the pops and flames. I don't push my car that hard.

It has a nice, deep rumble to it. It makes the Flowmaster Super 10s I had before sound terrible.

Stingers with an Off road pipe is pretty brutal. I had bullet mufflers in place of the Cats on my off road X and that helps some.

I sold my stingers and went with the Steeda Catback which is just the Borla touring with Steeda stamped on it but cheaper. I'm very happy with it and am still running the bullet mufflers in the X and its very mild. I bet if a true off road X pipe was run it would probably be perfect for the guy that doesn't want to set off car alarms when he cruises.

It is all opinions. I have run all three. You just need to listed to youtube videos and decide. I was dead set on Stingers than I talked to Borla and they said do not use stingers on high boosted applications as you will blow them out real quick like. I am on 30+psi and 3" setup so I went with a different Borla. If you want a quiet Borla then touring. The ATAK sound god awful. I had bassani and it just was not my thing. Magnaflow I think sound good but also just not what I wanted.

Ya idling I keep setting of my dads Truck alarm at the shop. Pretty funny except when he is not there to shut it off.

I've got an IRS magnaflow catback with magnapacks welded into it (basically their version of stingers). Been boxed up for a couple years since I switched back to a SRA. If you're interested it looks like we're pretty close. I would sell it cheap.

Borla sounds the best but overpriced and have the crappiest exhaust tips. I've gone Bassani after I owned my Borla Stingers on my 04 Cobra.

I love my Stingers. They sound decent with the stock mid pipe. But there's a tone that I catch every once in a while that bugs me. Makes me feel like the car is missing or something. Even though I know it's not and it's all in my head. I'm going back to my Bassani catted X soon for a couple reasons. I'm looking forward to the sound, but at the same time I'll probably want to tone it down in a couple months.
