I have a 03 cobra black 10th anniversary with 58k miles that I keep thinking about selling simply because I never drive it and I hate to see it sit not getting enjoyed, the car is has upper and lower pulley with a BAP and a kurigan tune other than that its pretty much stock. the only thing I know that it needs is a pprv delete done because it will cut out at wot shifts and kurigan said the delete would solve this issue. I have owned the car for a couple of years but its been in my family for the last 7 years and may have had 3 to 4k miles put on it in that time. my question is what is everyones opinion on what would be a fair price for this car to sell? Also one more thing the Carfax report has some misinformation on it with the mileage in july of 08 it reports 45k miles and in feb 09 it shows 103k which means someone would have had to put 58k miles on it in 7 months, but the cluster reads right at 58k so is this common for this to happen on Carfax? I'm still undecided on selling for sure but it crosses my mind more and more so it maybe time for it to move on, what would be a fair price for this car to sell?

Gonna be hard with the car fax stating that. Pics would help too.

22ish.. maybe could try higher and feel your local market.

You have to decide if you want to sell it(like this year).
Or list it for 25,26 and let it sit a year or 2 until inflation maybe catches up.

Sounds fair, I was thinking 20 or 21 I just dont want people to look at the carfax and think something is not right because it's obviously wrong, but I really dont want to sit on it a year because once I decide to sell then I'm ready to sell.

I'm not sure I was hoping someone else would know but there is no way to someone put 58k miles on it in 7 months, then would had to change the cluster to a lower mile one.

its might possible if preview owner or owner before that mod the cluster . I saw on YouTube where this guy can hook up an device to your car computer and change the mile to what ever you want as long it’s digital .

One time I least a car and i Saw 000000 miles . Something is wrong there , I work at gm car factory in the past and I know dam well every cars need few mile test drive and going thru each zone for repair from paint damage to transmission leak ....

Usually when new cars get to the dealer usually get at least 15-20 miles.

I know but according to carfax 58k miles was put on the car in 7 months which is next to impossible, july 08 45k mile and showed it was serviced and Feb 09 service and showed 103k miles so I would say whoever documented the miles made a mistake.

Who was the vendor or location that disclosed it at the 103k mark? Maybe you can have them re report it?

^^^ This! It's worth a try. Someone entered the mileage incorrectly. You just have to find out who/what shop and see if they can correct it on their end. There's got to be a way because I'll bet this stuff happens more than you think.

*Kurgan

Have the fuel issue tended to by Kurgan before passing the problem off to the next owner. If the car sputtered and spit during my test drive I would be hesitant to purchase; would not even come to look unless it was fixed.

Have a CURRENT compression check done!
