I'm tearing out my interior to eradicate last winters mice nests. Grose, puke, disgusting things! This winter she stays at home in my heated garage.

Little bastards can get into everything! If the car is inside, seal the structure better and set traps.

I used to use dryer sheets in my car when I had to keep it on my parents carport in college. I never saw signs of mice after using them.

I hate those little shits. They got into the garage where we keep our atvs, the air boxes were full to the brim with bullshit. They even stored feed corn in the mufflers, had to open the carbon traps and blow em all out. That mouse piss smell is hard to get rid of too

I use the Tomcat pellet pouches. The mice nibble them and die soon after. I did find an entire stockpile of the pellets under my wife's Camaro's air cleaner. No mice or damage though. Usually the mice doe on the floor of the garage.

I just heard that peppermint oil on cotton balls helps keep mice and spiders / insects away. I might give it a try.

Agree.

Used it in trailer and many vehicles successfully.

Meaning my shit had no mice stuff ten feet away did.

That way for three years...so I’d say it works.

Of course use and have nothing that would attract otherwise. Full cleaning prior to storage.

And use the entire ****ing bottle of peppermint oil. The smell will dissipate over time and just smell nice to you.

Sent from my POFS iPhone in a rage cause this is the third try.

Usually die on the floor of the garage? Do you really want to risk mice nibbling, hiding in your car, and dying? If they died in the garage 100% of the time, that would be fine. But in your car, hidden? No! The stink of decaying mice would be worse than mouse piss. JMO.

I've heard that as well.

I use Bounce dryer sheets and no issues, thank God. I keep replacing them every couple of weeks or so to keep the scent strong and fresh.
I have like 4 behind each tire. lol

DO NOT use poison. It's pretty much guaranteed one will die somewhere where you don't want it to. Traps aren't foolproof either. I use traps in my garage and caught several but apparently one was the mother of the babies living in my car that were not old enough to take care of themselves. Four dime sized mice dead in the car and it took hours to find and weeks to get rid of the smell.
