Wait wait wait.... you gonna tell me, that enhancing the cars sound is rice? The REAL car sound???

Also, clickbait or not, that is irrelevant... we aren’t talking about the value of the content.

I’m not saying I’d do the mod, but not gonna pass judgement on someone enhancing real sound out of their car.

Think about it.
Geeeze man,,,, come on, ricer 100%

At the end of the day they are probably getting a lot of shit for free and the work done for free for clickbait so I guess I'm the dumbass at the end of the day paying full price and all that and waiting for a tune thats remote and not fine tuned in person.......lol
I think in general these clickbait posts are just annoying. This guy is a noncontributing member of the forum and is posting solely to generate income from his YouTube page.

Honestly, I don’t see how it should be treated any different than a vendor. If all you’re here to do is generate ad revenue then you should have to pay to be a forum sponsor.

So you agree it's rice. And the Coyote sound tube bullshit is rice which is why its usually the first thing removed.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion and seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of what I said lol. I know reading comprehension can be difficult at times.

Under glow=rice
big wang on a fwd car=rice
bush wacker fender flares=rice
excessive negative camber=rice

loud exhausts are really only rice cause it subjects everyone around you to hear it. A sound tube that does not artificially alter the blowers sound and affects only the driver and the passenger is not, but its all subjective I just don't see a point in shitting on people for wanting something you deem necessary. Let people enjoy things, but I think we can all 100% agree these car vlog youtuber channels are absolute cancer.

I don't know... I'm actually thinking about this kit... I'm pretty "soft" on my GT500...I can hardly hear the whine on my OE supercharger.

I miss the noticeable whine when I had the Cobra before getting my GT500, cruising around and I could hear that beautiful whine.

Or I jump in the L & I can hear the whine all day long.... I want that in my GT500 too.

I'm happy with HP my GT500 has & not ready to throw real $$$$ at it again.

....................................................................................................

I will probably give them my $ since I can't figure out how to do this on my own by going to Home-Depot & Autozone to pick up various connectors and tubing.

I gotta say I would love this mod on my cobra. I haven't spent a penny on her in over 5 years. My one issue is my Vmp blower is kinda quiet compared to my 2.3 whipple.

I loved the beautiful blower whine from a ported eaton. It was pure sex, but 600rwhp was always a goal with terminator's. I'll never complain about the power for twin screw but that whine has always been missing!!!

I'd get this kit, but I don't think I'd drill my firewall.. For a free kit I'd rock one and post results LOL!!!

Very cool IMO!!! Carry on homo's

I wanted my exhaust louder, my options were install new mufflers or install long tubes. I chose long tubes cause it added power but installing just mufflers would have been easier and less costly. If someone chose to install just mufflers I wouldn't say that mod is stupid cause all it did was make the exhaust louder.

To me this sound tube mod is just like installing mufflers, no real performance but more sound. The "idea" of the sound tube isn't bad, I mean who doesn't like some good-ole blower whine. Where this sound tube falls short and what rubs me the wrong way is the $145 price tag, this should be a $50 mod tops.

While I could do without alot of the extra shit in the big time Youtuber's videos, its just what it is now. You ever see how people go after Itsjusta6 like he is a ****ing rockstar at meets? Its nuts.
I have a channel as well. Very small, little bullshit, no clickbait. I just do installs and pass the info along on good or shitty products with MY TASTE. If people don't like it, no big deal. I just know when i cannot find a video and shooting blind, I then make a video so the next guy doesn't need to struggle as I did

PS: He was one of the FIRST non shop cars in the nation with a Gen3R. So its not like its a tune and pulley only car

You guys talk about me as if I am some scam artist. I made a career out of doing what I love: Racing, Buying, Modifying, and enjoying cars. You really need to look into what it means to be click baited. I am just a normal guy. Yes some people ask me to sign things and some people are excited to see me. I don't let that cloud or inflate my ego. That is not me. I love talking to people and meeting them and that is not something to be ashamed of.

An example of clickbait: "My GT500 is Totaled": video about a small scratch or something similar.

Clickbait is where someone attempts to spark an emotion from a viewer on any platform and immediately get someone to click only to find out the title doesn't match the content.

My video and all of the videos posted on SVTP are linked as supplemental content and to start a conversation on SVTP. I'm sure SVTP owners would not be upset when posts on here receive engagement. (Because at the end of the day SVTP is a business in this industry that survives off of advertisements, engagement, and views)

As for the sound tube mod: It is something that I installed on my girlfriend's whipple S550 before. It is fun and sounds cool. That is it. No clickbait, scam, or anything special. Same reason you would change your axlebacks for more sound. Yes my supercharger makes noise to begin with but now I can hear it better and it can be heard even better when recording videos on my interior.

Not sure why you are quoting me. I was taking about YouTube as a whole. I watch the meat and potatoes of your content. I don’t watch the going for coffee and burnouts and donuts in parking lots. But I watch the actual tech stuff when there is some.
All I said is I could do without all the other stuff

I don't think anyone really cares what your interpretation of click bait is. The point being that you are here for the clicks, do you have a post on this site without a plug to your you tube channel ?

You mean like your GT500 Broken Rods ?? video

Agreed on this one! There is deff clickbait on these. He knows people will flock to videos of seeing someone with broken shit because thats how petty people are and they like to see people fail.
Another thing that Youtubers flock to is people that are spending ungodly amounts of money .The content can be garbage and serve no purpose to anyone, but if you buy a $35k cheeseburger and record eating it while driving in a Veyron, it will get millions of views.

This. @MrAjsTech Your posts on the forum are nothing but clickbait for your YouTube channel. What are you contributing to the community? You're only here to make money. Excluding your last post, I haven't seen one post from you that isn't a plug to the channel. The videos you're posting are not the slightest bit interesting....these mods have all been done 100x over, the forum regulars here have seen it all before.

Guys, guys... lol. Easy there.. why so hostile?

It’s just a video, whether guy makes money from it or not, is irrelevant.

OP doesn’t seem to be whoring it around or doing any real click baiting.

You either like the video or not; no real need to grab the pitch forks (just yet).

The more videos and content, the better. If not your cup of tea, drink somewhere else.

Everyone wins.

I agree with some of what you are saying, but as a side note, I do youtube as well. The main reason I do it is because when I am looking for info or videos on something specific that would have helped me and asked alot, I feel it is a good opportunity for me to make a video for the new guys to the cars or people just starting out working on cars and want to save some labor money and learn how to work on their car.
I try my best to keep it to the point though. I have learned that people do not care about anything else other than the specific topic on that video and just fast forward to the meat and potatoes they are looking for.
So now my videos are soley, this is what I am doing, this is why I am doing it, this is how its done.

But you're also a contributor to the forum, PM. You don't just come here solely to post a link to your videos.
