That’s good they have hopefully fixed it.

I laugh when I see a brand new rebel go bouncing buy flat on its ass. Lol

There is not really any maintenance to do on those systems as they are closed loop.

I think they are actually nitrogen, just used air ride as fill in term.

My uncle got the full run around from dealer. Had warranty when issues started.

1)hmm never heard of those having issues
2) lots of codes so we cleared them, you must off-road.
3)oh it was a sensor all good now
4 warranty is done but you need a hole new system or we can replace with coils(which we have in stock) for half the price.

Lol. He was pissed

Speaking of the 15-17 6 speed, I just dropped mine off at the dealership for what the service adviser and I believe is the leadframe issue that was recalled for the 11-14 F150's. Not happy but I get to drive a sweet grandma looking Fusion for the next week.

Aside from this issue my 15 XLT has been rock solid since I purchased it last November.

What issue?

OP, there are some awesome incentives on the STX spec'd F-150s right now. I know in my market area there are currently $7250 in rebates, none of which require anyone to utilize Ford Credit.

I love having a truck as a daily driver, and regret having been without one for a year.

F150 forum had a post 19 F150 XLT 302A packages have some good incentives too.

Yeah, I think it was a total of $8250. Largest incentive push I’ve seen in a long time.

Probably trying to counter gmc’s Costco member proffered pricin event.....

What’s the issue with ‘18s?

leaky plastic oil pans, valve train noises, exception oil consumption, 10spd has shifting issues...etc.

The f-150 has gone from a long lasting built tough truck that you could pass to the next generation to a trade in every 3yrs disposable tech toy. Its a shame really..

Leased 2018 here. I don't have any of those issues. You're such a hater it's laughable.

I would smash the throttle, engine would rev like normal, but I wouldn't accelerate and the truck wouldn't shift correctly. Ford checked it out yesterday and they found absolutely nothing wrong with the tranny or engine and there weren't any codes to speak of. They ended up revving the engine while in park and noticed that the air intake tube was collapsing which was starving the engine of air hence the massive loss of power and shift issues. The techs along with service manager told me they have never seen anything like this and that they suggested I replace the tube along with the air filter for a tune of $300ish. I said scratch that, I 'd rather grab a CAI from JLT for far cheaper. I mentioned that if the problem persists then I would be bringing it back for further diagnosis as my powertrain warranty is good for another 10K miles.

Owned 2018 here. 5.0 Sport XLT Screw

Plastic oil pan yes. Used 3-4 quarts in the first 4k miles, no oil on dipstick. Used 2 quarts over the next 5k. Just hit about 9k on the truck. Motor rattles and taps. Noisiest motor i've ever had. 10 speed is definitely clunky. I don't think they have the tuning completely dialed in yet.

Otherwise truck has been solid. Rides good. Looks good. Comfortable. The body issues I think have been dialed in on the 18+. Fit and finish was good, I didn't have any odd things otherwise.

I have 100k mile warranty on it. It'll be paid off before it's up. If it blows up 15 times and gets 15 motors, then that's fine. I will drive it and just deal with it.
