Maybe they're trying to get into the text books on business. They can headline the chapter on how NOT to roll out a new product!
All I can think is they're still not happy with the overall numbers the car puts out so they don't want to release everything yet, I figured by now magazine's would already be tested the cars.
Powertrain and exterior might be confirmed but they may (unlikely) be still fine tuning weight, suspension, calibration. Finding final tenths before release...
My guess is they are close as damnit, and or done but waiting for magazine testers to reveal the specs after a media day.
Everybody remember how the ‘13 trinity was going to be too spin happy and blah blah bad Ford, spill the goods-then it routinely ran 3.5 0-60 and 11.65@125 and everyone shut right up and bowed down.

All I can think is they are still tweaking the motor for optimal performance and reliability???

Ford Mustang advertising is incomprehensible. I see Dodge boys doing burnouts every day on TV. Never see a Mustang commercial, they might tag in a short micro blip in a truck commercial.
