Damn man, Maaco special turned out killer!
I have a soft spot for Mineral grey and this build is awesome.
If I have the Shelby up to Lidio’s as planned Saturday I’ll let you know.

Any chance you have a part number for the pan? I’m gathering all my parts to start putting my new motor together and still need a pan.

One word of caution. If that pan is the one from the 5.8 Trinity motor from the 13-14 GT500 they require a lot of modifications to fit into a 94-04 chassis even with a tubular k member.

I love following this build. Tons of detail in it mechanically and visually. Plus it gives me a lot of motivation to get going on my engine build and getting my 03 Cobra back on the road.

Thanks
Ken

I have great admiration for super talented people who have the vision, talent and desire to make something truly special. One thing to just write a check but another to create it. I have the check writing talent but wish I had your skill set. You appear to have both.

Winning!

Super kind post but I can’t take all the credit. The vision may be mine but it takes a team of talented people for a high end build. I have the help of an expert wrench, top notch powder coater, awesome paint shop etc. With that said you’re welcome to exercise your check writing talents for the car when it’s all done :D

I just exercised my check writing talent. Having my GTR delivered back to me from Alpha Performance here in about 1 hr. Should be a little faster when I get it back...

Kudos to you and the team on building a stunner.

Looks awesome, can’t wait to see what the final product looks like!

I miss living out in SE Michigan (occasionally), but especially when it’s time for Woodward...

That Supra, looks like it’s from Accelerated Performance. Any idea if it’s the one from OH with the personalized plate? If it’s the one I’m thinking of, it was a pretty serious car. Wonder what else he’s got going on with it these days. Also, guy had a pretty cool collection of cars.

Nope, we spent the last three years in SE Michigan, I worked at St V’s in Toledo. Now in CA - weather is awesome and people are nuts.

I’d just met the guy who (I think) owns the Supra at one point living out there, and who doesn’t love a MkIV Supra with a huge turbo?

4 days with no updates on a build of this caliber and guys are complaining, I think you've set an unrealistic standard for updates lol. My build thread is several years behind the current state of my car, I don't know where you guys get time to to the work and post updates.

Everything still going good? Been a minute with no updates. Hopefully no issues came up.
No issues. I was actually out of town Sunday and Monday so that’s mostly to blame for the delay. I do have a couple more pics I’ll be posting tonight and hopefully the Holley will be fully wired in tomorrow evening

So I wasn’t quite sold on the stock tail lights but I know I didn’t want dark smoked so I took an extra set to the paint shop and had them tint them close to the same darkness as the smoked headlights. I like it much better. Here’s a side by side comparison.
