Hi All!! Happy Friday!! I'm finally able to announce my promotion to Vice President - Large Drive Division!! Woot!!

I've been with this company for nearly 20 years. Started out as a field service tech in 2000 and have worked my way through engineering, engineering management, etc. Very grateful for the opportunities they have given me. It's surreal how this kind of stuff happens. I barely graduated high school. My guidance counselor told me I could only do construction work. Looks like I've made a career out of doing things that people said couldn't be done. Goes to show we need to listen to people less and believe in ourselves more.

So, for anyone with experience with Medium Voltage Variable Frequency drives (any brand), MV infrastructure design/maintenance, DC drive, and Low Voltage VFD experience, please reach out to me. Our company is about the go through a large expansion. We need qualified engineers & technicians. All of our positions are traveling jobs. Degrees are not necessary. Experience is king. You must be able to travel 50%-75%. Compensation commiserate with experience. We are a very good company to work for, but I may be biased!!

Also looking for motor techs. Would need experience servicing large AC & DC machines (like 2500 HP and up). Again, this is a field position. Travel is 75%+.

We work in many vertical markets. You could be working on a car shredder one day, in the oil field the next, and in a nuke plant the next. We are a family owned company with 320 employees and have been in business for 30 years. We have an extremely low turn-over rate. Once people start with us they never leave. So we are looking for people who are interested in retiring from us!!

If you want deets, please PM me.

Haha. I’ve peaked. It’s all down hill from here... lol.

My next promotion is when I retire in 20 years.
**** THAT THOUGHT! You will climb the last rung eventually! If you keep your mind to it you can accomplish anything!

Congrats!

I want to repower a medium size 50-70’ convertible sport fishing boat to run on electric motors powered by a genset. Help.

Congratulations. It is never easy to be promoted to the exec level. Many perks but there are a few cons as well. When the CEO calls, your phone will ring first. The politics usually increase at this level as well. Hire great people, treat them well and let them do their jobs. Everything else will fall into place.

Best of luck in your new role.
