I'll be 31 in November. I've been working full time for 17 years, and if 2000 hours is an average year, I've done over 25 years of work so far. I hit a complete burnout state last year, made a major life change earlier this year and went "oh my God, where did my 20's go, and did I ever have a friggin' childhood?" It really messed me up for a few months.
I get it, I'm not 55 so I can't relate completely. I do seem to relate to you guys far more than my own age group though. My advice is (just like in LNC, with what Buckwheat1 said) just focus on the present. Appreciate what you have, family, good memories, the works... The past is in the past, there's still more future to go. There you go, most positive thing I've probably ever said on SVTP.
I figured you were much much older based on your posts
