Looking for opinions after pulling my Whipple off the Boss during my 6R80 swap. Was going to sell it as a turn key kit (Sai Li/ID 1000’s) but I feel I’m better off finding a trade partner instead of starting over.

I pulled the blower off due to the instant torque, so I now want something that builds boost or is adjustable.

The Whipple made 687 on 93 Whipple tune and 820 on E85/PBD so I'm looking for something that’s capable of making some steam.

Considering a single, twins, or a larger centri (JT/YSI, D1/F1). A cooler running setup is desirable in this central FL climate.

I rarely see forced induction trades and my Whipple is red so I’m not sure if this is a viable option anyway. I would appreciate input on which system to go with or if I should scrap the whole trade idea.

If you don’t like the powerband you should be able to swap it for a nice centri kit without much hassle. Just look over the parts VERY thoroughly

Very nice set-up man, I think I'd save yourself some serious headaches, and just continue to run the Whipple. Speaking from experience here, any power adder Coyote's going to be a handful, especially on any tire under the sun short of a drag radial / bias slick. I was nowhere near 8xxwhp with my Paxton. And I will tell you I wouldn't go full throttle on the street with Radial pros, until I was at a speed that wouldn't allow the car to down-shift into first. AKA no matter how you achieve it, you're going to have too much power to ask any sort of street tire to handle imo.

That’s a good option. After seeing another shop customer run 8.88 with the same gen 2 blower I may hold on to it.

Thanks for the input guys.

Sold the Whipple a couple months ago. Leaning towards the On3 single but still considering the Hellion twin or a Large Centri, JT probably.

Since the car will be on the stock converter/trans and won’t see the track (for a couple of years) the lower torque of the centri might suit me. I would however like the coolest IAT/Underhood system and one that won’t hack up the engine bay if I ever decide to sell the Boss.

After having the Whipple whine mod, I would also prefer a system with an audible presence.

Thoughts?

Not that I know of. I just know they claim you dont have to modify your car like some single kits. I just discovered their HLX upgrade, my wife loves the sound. I just dont think it is worth the price. I just saw you wanted something louder, it came to mind.

Just got it. Won’t be installed for a while. I may lend a hand but most of it will be done by a pro. Quality is really good. Price was amazing!

Care to share details on price? Maybe through a PM?
What are your goals with this?
My only thing that I dont like about the single is deleting items to get it to work. I want an all around car. It doesnt have to be the best at anything.
