A KC car club goes down to COTA every spring for a weekend. I haven't been before, but plan on going this coming year.

COTA is a beautiful track.

My next car will be an 00R. And I plan on tracking it

He’s not suggesting limiting it to just R’s, this would be a piggyback event to the annual SCMC SVT superfest show at VIR.

I’d like to see some track time for just the R’s during this event. Doesn’t have to be all day, just a couple of sessions is plenty.

I’ve taken one of mine for a few HPDE’s and dislike being on the track with people who don’t give a crap about their cars.

Dave, correct.

There is no way we are going to attempt an event at a track just for us. There simply aren't enough people to make the numbers work for a track event. It has to be an event we can merge into AND the group be willing to accept us. The SVT Superfest is a great venue for this. There will be other SVTs in attendance and also Shelbys along with a few other Mustang variations.
