Dealers were throwing them on there, bidding themselves up, then closing the auction before it ended and relisting.

I have 0 doubts that these cars will sell at $10-15k over MSRP.

Are you saying they will sell at MSRP soon? I don't think that'll be the norm for quite some time.

I'm with you. People are going to pay markup on these without thinking twice and it won't be at MSPR for a while. There will probably be that one dealer or two who do MSRP only, but if you can make an extra buck and someone is willing to pay, why not?

Yep. 99% of dealer's thoughts.

I could've made a lot more money selling all 8 of mine to dealers at $5-10k over MSRP.

People are definitely paying over msrp, I know two went for 50k over here at a local dealer. Makes 5 - 15k look like a deal, maybe even make you "feel" like you're getting invoice + hold back and some free extras.
