You know very well what I mean about another mans kids. I'm talking about taking care of another mans kids from a previous relationship. I love kids. I love my nieces and nephew, my baby cousins, etc... I'm always looking out for them and will always try to steer them in the right direction and be as good an uncle or cousin as I can be.

I don't know if he's necessarily saying that. Until I was with my now wife a couple years, I wasn't sure I wanted kids and prior to meeting her, I sure as hell wasn't going to date/marry a woman that had kids from a previous relationship. I had nieces and friends that had kids and I helped watch my nieces as my sister and her husband were finishing up their education and I loved them like my own when I was taking care of them. At the time though I didn't know if it was for me as I needed the "other half" in my life to even consider parenthood.

Now we have an almost 4 month old son and he's the light of our world. I want to give him the best life possible and it makes me want to see all parents do that for their children.

Anyway, as I was getting to - never dating a woman with kids does not equal disliking all children. I can't say that is true for him but it was for me.

Well you beat me to it but that's what I was saying on your behalf and that it was my outlook as well.

I was just responding to the words I bolded. If I misinterpreted, I'll take the blame this time. But people should choose their words more carefully.
