Came here to see what the svtp pros were saying about this car.

I will say, I am greatly impressed by this new chassis/direction. I have always enjoyed the Corvette platform, however, I have never seen myself as a Corvette owner per-se. Never have seen a release that made me go "oh, I need this in my life"

Until now.

I was meh on it seeing partial unveilings, camo cars, spy shots, etc. Plus I thought the MR layout was going to run side by side with the FR platform (C7) as a more of a special edition car like the Ford GT is; I didn't think they were going to dump the FR for MR completely. But those crazy sons of bitches actually did it. Then you see the entire car, gleaming in "**** your Ferrari" red, and it just gave me the ultimate American freedom boner. 495hp in a car like that, I think will be the perfect starting point. Imagine one of these with a nice H/C combo to keep it NA or a pair of nagasaki noisy bois. And I know alot of people are annoyed at the interior and the center trim button row, but I ****ing dig it for whatever reason.

Then again, I am 35 now, maybe its just midlife crisis kicking in.

Yeah, that kills the interior for me.
Maybe it'll grow on me, but right now, not feeling that or the rear end including the old school Borla square tip exhaust tips. lol

I have seen some decent shots of the rear in different lightning, out in the wild, it’s ok in some colors, not so much in others. Those tips are starting to grow on me.

GM pulled out their Donkey dick and beat Ford down with it. Keep drinking the blue koolaid, but that shit is laced up by Jim Jones.
Hahahaha I think you need to put down that donkey dick. FGT still holds the title of king.

Well its a cool car and I would like to see it see for 58k but it wont happen around my neck of the woods. Mark up on vettes in Maine are horseshit. I went with a friend of mine to go get the vette that he wanted. Found it at the stealership for 12k more than price they put online. He told them to pound sand. If the rest of the stealerships are doing the same shit you wont be getting this thing for less than 70k.

Still worried the base C8 is just too feminine. Not sure, have to see one in person.

Good luck. FGT wins prove otherwise.

I love how many love internet racing yet have never raced on track.

Well considering we haven’t gotten a head to head yet it’s all speculation. Not my fault GM and Dodge is still swinging those big boy engines and killing the competition and Ford has a V6 supercar(lol) and the 5.0 is dropping from burning oil.

As far as racing goes. Never said one way or the other if Ive been on the track, but yes Ive been involved in plenty of “races”.

Its funny it only took a v6 from Ford to beat those oh so big v8s. Kinda sad if you ask me.

If your gonna complain about the oil issues at least add the 5.2 voodoo to that list.

Lol the good old days of Mexico can make for some fun.

Still most never been on the track and fear it. As they may not be as good as a driver as they think they are.

We will be seeing the Corvette back on top with that American V8 power. Not some ecojunk. The koolaid is strong as hell with some man. They dont want to taste the other flavors beside the blue one.
Blue taste good. Why change?

See you even had to involve that junkass Voodoo engine along with the blows up from condensation ecojunk that cant even last long enough to see the taillights of a LS/LT powered GM vehicle. Its a damn shame that GM and Dodge are running around like a pair of silverbacks running the jungle and a turd with a V6 is trying to keep up with them.

Yall step away from the Koolaid. That shit is laced up. Come on over and get some real engine action in your life. Its ok. I was one of yall except I got tired of getting my ass handed to me like the C8 is going to handing everything Ford Powered its ass.
