ya in the summer it tends to but it was waaaaay beyond that, it was like borderline flash floods or just raining all day long

I10 west of houston yesterday afternoon
Gone 10 days and set my auto rain gauge to zero, now has 5.70 on display.
Lasted 40 seconds. It was crazy! Our pool got wavy and water came splashing out. Not sure it is weather related, but deal with it! LOL

friend of mine took this from the other night before the worst lightning storm I have seen every took place. more simultaneous lightning than I have seen. the sky virtually stayed lit up even though it was night, due to all the lightning one right after the other.

Golf Ball size hail at my elderly in laws tonight, got yard clean up detail tomorrow.
Wish we had the rain, sorry to hear about the inlaws, we're in a drought here in Chicago as of late.
