That’s not a fair statement imo. Our government does many things great or even excellent. It’s mostly patriotic men and women who make up public and private government. The bad actors aren’t that powerful as to ruin it all.
If we say:
S=secrets (kept),
G=government, GP=gov performance, and GC=gov corruption/conspiracies, and GI=gov ineptitude (secrets spread/sold for money!!!) and play with those as math values, nothing comes of it.
Take my values from above, there are many ways to disprove the equation.
If we assign 0 to S, 1 to G, 2 to C and 3 to P and 4 to I and:
S=(GP -(GC*GI))
We get a number but it isn’t zero. Plug in variables and any way you and run the equation any way, nothing of use comes from any of it. We assigned as basic of algebra as possible. I’m not going to calculate dirivatives or matrices on a forum.
The news is very corrupt, and poorly keeps secrets. Lots of redactions. When you have to make internet gestapo forces to curtail people into internet ghettos, you’ve shown your hand and lost all credibility.
The corrupt in government use corrupt media to cover their asses and attack patriots when the secrets do come out. Flynn, Trump, Jordan et al get hit piece after hit piece when damning evidence breaks on Clinton’s et al.
2 days ago BBC ran a 1 hour veiled hit piece on qanan by skating past many valid connections it has brought out, saying how naive all the conspiracy theorying was, and at the end saying “Trump is friends with Epstein for 20 years now. That is quite the conspiracy except that it is also true. Good night!”
And bbc is usually one of the lesser corrupt studios. News had broke big trending earlier that day that Epstein’s temple resembled the mosques in Aleppo, weird concrete script and all. Symbolism being their downfall.
It was trending very high so bbc and many others went into damage control. Thing is the Sol Alynski mud sling doesn’t work too well with this kind of material.

Back to aliens, and Area 51. With heat weapons they could defend the base from foot striders really easily. No one is walking 500 years through growing heat wave exposure that reaches the feeling of 500°. I bet they could use similar tech at the border eventually to ward off cartels.

Please don't deflect by starting in with politically correct jargon hoping to ally yourself with military or Government employees as an argument technique. This has nothing to do with whether there are good individuals within the Government.
The Government, as a whole, is a terribly inefficient organization incapable of keeping the types of secrets that conspiracy theorists popularize. Little stuff of no consequence or interest to the public? Sure.
But, not the big stuff. There are too many self serving individuals throughout all levels who stand to gain too much by being the ones to come out with the secrets. Even if motivated by patriotism or consequences to keep the matter hush, it is only a matter of time before someone screws up inadvertently. There is simply no way around it.
Face it . . . there are no aliens at Area 51. The Government was not behind 9/11.
I'll say this: Magnesium ignites between roughly 900 and 1200 degrees (depending on physical state, etc.) and burns between 2,500 and 4,000 degrees. I believe there's a fair amount of magnesium in the airplanes that hit the towers that day.

I’m in small business. I deal with local and federal government weekly. I know of the inefficiencies and stringently enforcement policies on things I can’t make sense of.
That doesn’t stain the entirety of military or public sector as non patriots trying to conduct mass fraud on the people.
The conspiracy’s i hold close are inline with the consideration that our government is breechable to extents by bad actors, but in the background, we have the nuts to correct course and sail straight.
My opinion, Enter Donald J Trump, by the posturing of higher level patriots who wanted a commander in chief, not a lobbiest lackey or a door mat.
A conspiracy theory I also believe is that loads and loads and loads of patriots and whistleblowers in the fbi, cia, and many other areas were beyond sick and tired of the Clinton crime machine bending and pulling money everywhere, while selling out the country to the highest bidders.
Government isnt the solution, but it isn’t the entire problem. The real problem holding back America is foreign bad actors infiltrating any week points in our systems from commerce and trade to real estate to banking and finance to political and militarily.
So in long, no slight of hand here.
