NASA tv is showing it ~9:30pm CST
9:56pm should be the time for Neil stepping out the LEM if they do it exactly 50 years to the minute.

HBO had First Man premiering on the anniversary. It was alright.
Visually it was cool, but it had no soul.
The series "From the earth to the moon" from the late 90s was much, much more accurate. Though it had a lot more time to work with as a series.

Contrary to what people (who knew him) have said about Armstrong, FM made him out to be an ahole rather than just a quiet, almost shy and reserved man. I started FTETTN recently as I just fond it on the HBO Go app a few days back and I'll watch the entirety of the series and see how it compares to Moon Shot and such. I'm at the point where they all met at a hotel (using the same code name) and are sitting around in the ballroom getting acquainted.
