Looking for a set of rotors and pads for my car.
I have the 00R calipers up front and stock cobra rears.

Has anyone used the EBC Bluestuff NDX Pads yet?
Found these locally here in Europe and they seem to be a good street/track pad.

Any recommendation on rotors? Has anyone used the Girodiscs?
If yes, what do you use in the rear as they are only available for the front.
I would like to have a 2-piece rotor.

Thanks
Ana

Maximum motorsports has a variety of Hawk pads. I use hawk hp plus on the rear of mine with a power stop slotted and drilled rotor which I never had a problem with but has since upgraded to the h10 compound, just a slotted rotor and stainless line. I find drilled rotors are very temporary.
For your rotors, you might be stuck with brembo(not 100% on that; MM might know) which is not bad but if you are looking for a two piece you might not have many options. As well as shipping. Haven't tried EBC yet and never heard of girodisc.
I run the baer track 4 kit up front. It uses a late 90s early 2000s Camaro z28 ss pad. Their 6 post use a around the same year Corvette style pad. Other than having to be shimmied, they have been great for several years and they still look brand new. No visible fading. I picked baer because if anyone knows heat, it is those guys in Arizona. There is also an option to go 2 piece. Oh I also use baer front pads but they only have 2 options and I use the milder of the 2. And that is when I had the kenne bell. Now I am n/a again.
Hope that helps a little. I have been meaning to ask, why dont I ever see you on auto addiction?

I was thinking, are cobra front rotors the same as the cobra r? Or is the rotor hat different?Just cooling ducts and 4 pot brembos on the R correct?

thank you for the suggestions. I'm over using Hawk pads as they did not last at all even while driven on the street only. Had HP Plus.
I have ordered the EBC pads to give them a try, blue for the front and yellow for the rear because blue is not yet available for the rear. As soon as available, I will change to blue for the rears to.

as for rotors, I do have a set of drilled and slotted Stoptech rotors sitting around that I may use just to get this thing back on the track again. But longterm I really prefer 2-piece rotors. Full Tilt has the set for front and back, Girodisc (google them) has fronts only. Brembo only has 2-piece for their GT BBKs, not as OEM replacement for the Rs.

What is auto addiction?

Yes, or at least the Cobra rotors fit the R Calipers perfectly. Not sure if the R used a different rotor as in different part numbers, but fitment is the same.

Auto Addiction is a you tube channel by one of the staff(I think) at the Nurburgring. My dream is to drive my car there one day. But the NOLA track is very different from the Nurburgring. I will be going 2 piece myself but I blew way past the budget this year. FTBR looks like a great kit. I would assume any legitimate 2 piece would suffice until we need to go to a 14 in 6 pot kit. As far as pad wear, my car is not street anymore but the Baer pads only last 1 or 2 weekend events. I am interested in your opinion on the EBC.
For the rear, I assume, again, any legitimate rotor would do. I even used a auto zone blank rotor and over the counter ceramic pad and lasted 2 weekends some street driving and still had almost 50% left. But like I said Nurburgring is a different animal.
Looks like fitment is the same. Baer, DBA, and Griodisc look good and make 2 pieces for cobra front. Use the stop techs until you get the 2 piece then just use em on the track. Street rotor and street pad seperate from the race pad and rotor combo. I am jealous of the coyote swap.
