When I bought the car, the prior owner put Varrstoen ES7's in 18":

Even though these wheels are nice, I really like the stock wheels:

I'm thinking of going back to the stock wheels. Does anyone here still roll with the stock wheels?

Anything shiny look fantastic with the “poppy” Mystichrome paint! That said, I like the simple OEM wheels too.

I see some put black wheels on Mystichrome and Mystic Cobras. Black wheels look good on some colors, but not Mystichrome or Mystic in my opinion. The colors are too vibrant and they need bright wheels to compliment the paint.

I agree. Chrome really belongs on Mystichrome.

I still rock stock fronts and 10.5" rear reps. I like the clean, classic 5 spoke design.

I dont personally like chrome much. I do like black chrome though, which has grown on me. My car is sonic blue, but I have mystic flames that cover the front and doors, so I am partly mystic. The black chrome goes really well with mystic.
I run 5 spoke Saleen wheels though, I think if I were to do that again I would go with the stock style, try to find them in black chrome or have them glossed in a black clear coat.

Stock oem chromes on the front, 10.5" reps on the back. I love the look, sometimes i wish chrome 18 reps were cheap and easy to find.

This right here. ^ same set up I have. He is also correct about the 18’s.

love the stock wheels... unlike a lot of folks though, i prefer the machined version over the chrome. both of my cars came with chrome, but i switched over the to the machined afterwards.

if i'm not mistaken, the classic five-spoke design was actually one of svt's signature items (the "real" svt, before coletti left lol). i believe all 93-04 svt's rocked their own unique version of a five-spoke: lightning, contour, mustang, and focus.

I agree. The chrome Terminator wheels are such a timeless classic look on a New Edge that will never go out of style. I plan on getting those wheels for my 2V when I get it.

I have OEM 10th's on my Anniversary coupe.
Just picked up a set of 10th replicas so I can go staggered and run the 315 Toyo TQ's I have sitting in the garage. Going to get them powdercoated to set it apart a little bit, but I didn't want to go away from the original 10th Anniversary theme.

I think 17" chromes look great on any color, even silver

But personally I'd stick with what you have, or get Classics/SP500's

1-1.5" drop would really help stance too!

Chrome factory 5-spoke wheels look great with the Sonic Blue paint. A friend of mine had this combo and it looked better IMO than the satin 5-spoke. Just a personal preference. Overall, the '03-'04 factory wheels were a great design.
