For those that missed the reveal of the C8, here is a re-broadcast of the event. First 20 minutes absolutely sucked. But wanted to post the show in its entirety.

If this pricing holds up, impressive in my book.

"The 2020 Corvette enters production late this year. Exact pricing hasn’t been announced, but GM President Mark Reuss said it will start under $60,000, which is close to what the current car goes for, and that the order books are open now."

Reveal was awful. Looks need a bit of help. Interior doesn’t flow well. But the car itself and performance per dollar is absolutely MIND BLOWING.

Never been a fan of any base model corvette. The potential of this car in z06/zr1 trim is extremely exciting however. Interior is a little weird, but the performance should be off the charts I would think. Seems like a hell of a bargain.

I agree.

This car is the performance bargain the mustang/camaro have been. They just moved it up a notch.

For me what's going to be interesting is what will the effect be on the current market value of corvettes. It's going to be interesting to see it play out. May be a good time to go shopping for a current or previous year model.

C7s and below will definitely take a hit. How much remains to be seen. I'm hoping my ZR1 holds its value because of it being a 1 year run and last front engine. But we'll see.

I don’t see the ZR1 depreciating any time soon.... even with this new C8.

For me, I'm more interested in what it's going to do to 2nd/3rd/4th/5th-hand exotics market. It would be retarded to buy, say, an F430 or R8 V8 over this. That, or the person is a huge fan of the other brand(s).
