I thought Val Kilmer was supposed to be in it but I figured the trailer would have shown him. Not sure now!

Edit: just checked IMDB and Val Kilmer is in it.

After seeing that trailer, I have very high expectations that this sequel is not going to disappoint. Can't wait to see it. And add it to my 4K Ultra HD video library!

Had it on VHS as a kid and enjoyed it! Was he inverted on a 4G negative dive over that mountain??

I always had a dream of piloting fighter jets after watching the original as a kid. I was close but it didn't work out. I was able to design components for some of them so that helped.

I saw the trailer, hope its a sick movie. Funny that maverick is a 30 year captain. LOL that mofo woulda got kicked out (forced to retire) after 20.

I think it's safe to say it won't be as good as the original. No movie can equal that Oscar-worthy epic.

To me it looked like Iceman was in the high altitude suit, could be wrong. Can't wait to see it.

I don't think Tom Cruise would sign on to do this unless he was positive it would be awesome. I don't see tom doing a movie that sucks. He does awesone movies. With the exception of eyes wide shut...that was just creepy weird. Ill bet you Tom had a lot of say so in this.
