I'm not in the market but for S&G I stopped by my local dealer to see what they were asking. They have 5 allocations and are starting at $30k over. The list is 12 people long. Another example of guys with more money than brains.

I have emails already about my allocation. Dealers are paying 5k over sticker for anyone willing to give up their allocation. So Expect it to be slim to get one for MSRP.

My max over on this car would be 5K ADM for the track pack.
For the base, zero over. Since I can't find a track pack, I'll be waiting it out... indefinitely.
If I wanted it that bad I'd pay it, no matter what it cost. This is what I feel its worth to me right now.
Being the idiot I am, after the reviews and final user testimonies, as well as other offerings that may come around, I'll revise my dumb money outlook on the car. Right now, as it sits, this is what I'd pay for it.

Couple the total lack of ford supplied specifications and information in general with a large ADM, anyone would have to be careful when it comes to ordering one of these cars. Heck, Ford hasn't even taken the trouble to have a 2020 GT500 build and price option up and running on their website. The only thing available is the order guide, that is not complete and a price list.

My max is 10k under for the track pack.

I have a question regarding ADM’s on this new car... How is it that people are paying boat loads of money over MSRP for a car with really No Performance Data to date? No 1/4 mile time, Weight Ect. And why has the top speed been limited? And then have two hood pins? Over 5 years in the making and still no real answers. Makes me wonder Ford! 13 & 14 model years 200+ and no hood pins...

I personally think the whole 200mph thing is funny to use that as something to hold onto. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED my 13. But how many of us are even going to see near 200mph? Think the most I did in the car was 165-170. I also haven't actually personally seen anyone hit that 200mph claimed mark. I remember Pobst and others attempting it, but never actually hitting it. Getting close like high 190s, but never that claimed 200mph.

The reason for the hood pins was addressed in a video on the 2020, but I'm trying to find it. And it being limited to 180mph was also discussed as being because the car is also made to go around a track and so they limited it so that it could be a performer both in the 1/4 and around a track. Downforce, etc. etc., I do not recall the details. The 13s were not track-oriented.

Some of the Shelby variants have had hood pins.

This car is fast. Wait until they start releasing a few track times, it'll make your head spin.

Not yet.

Dodge didn't release track times on the Gen IV ACR until it had secured 13 track records, just saying.

Dodge has released how many cars in the past couple of years and Ford takes 5 or 6 for one? I thought it would have had 800 just because of the Dodge line up

To make it simple... Ford needs to Show everyone what this can do! And then if you want to pay 20 to 100 over sticker more power to you. But this has been a total S#/t show with thewaiting game! You could order a Ferrari quicker than this car!

i dont need to know how the car performs, to know that i like what the car has. I can figure out what the 1/4 mile is based on the information available. My allocation search began the minute the car was released, Jan 14th. i secured an allocation and $ down in March.
