Yes, you need to pay your taxes. You get products and services from them. You think those rods appeared magically? Think your freedom and security is free? Wake up. Or don’t, I don’t care. But ya, you’re paying them. I suppose you could flee the country before being incarcerated.

Sorry a lot of taxes go to programs, while necessary, that Dems want to balloon even further.

I’m sure you’ll vote for Trump in 2020, who has paid more in taxes than you would in 50 lifetimes.

Ya and? So now the government doesn't use force (violence IMO) to get what it wants or does it? Maybe it uses the honor system? We pay for things we use and well, don't use. Our $$$$ is funding a bloated and out-of-control government on all levels and it is childish to think it is only the Democrats who want to spend. As of August of last year PA has the highest gas tax. Republicans did it. Our roads and infrastructure are terrible even though this was supposed to fix the issues. Maybe tomorrow I'll walk down the road and snap a picture it and show you what my tax dollars are being used on. It's embarrassing. There's a local truck stop (chain if you will) and my god, if there is one thing everyone (truckers, tourists, etc..,) agrees on are the terrible roads. Before I forget, a large amount of money from the gas tax was given to the state police. $4.2 BILLION was supposed to go for road repairs but the state popo got it. I don't begrudge the staties but people are fed up. The government has a spending problem. If we had a lot less b.s. people wouldn't feel unfairly taxed. People losing homes because they can't afford the theft, I'm sorry, taxes.

I personally seen people i know file for bankruptcy more them once. They easily got out of paying there fare share with the only downside of losing your credit for a few years.

Once again explain what would happen if everyone in America did that at the same time?

Filing for Bankruptcy: Chapter 7 vs. Chapter 11 vs. Chapter 13

First so we are on the same page, review 7/11/13 filings.

You can file for bankruptcy basically until you die. It will be ugly living.

1. 2nd bankruptcy is much harder to go through because you are limited to full asset forfeiture and basically horrible credit. House cars et all gone. (In proper accordance of the law). Where this goes wrong is people scamming it by transferring titles and so on. Bridge deals. It does tend to catch up with them and easily results in jail time for scamming the courts.

2. If everyone did it all at once, the people who don’t have debt would buy up the vacuum in the market and the market would largely sustain, but a lot of citizens would basically become a quasi criminal underclass with very little means beyond theft to sustain themselves. I don’t see it happening but I wanted to accurately answer the question to the best of my conscious.

People are selfish, they don’t want to live on Raman soup vs just work at their debt and keep the luxaries

Doesnt make you a good person to cheat you way out of paying your fair share. If everyone in America choose to file chapter 7,11 where would that land us?

Ugh. You can’t have a successful business and file just to get out of debt. Ya some people spin part of the old business into a new one.

But in rebuttal to your argument, who in their right mind would open a business without some protection. The vast majority that file bankruptcy have already lost everything, and just do it to stop creditors.

The economy would stall without this
protection.

As far as fair share, small business owners do more for this economy than anybody. They are also the most likely to file bankruptcy.

Sounds like your state is more of a mess than anything.

Your state leader is a democrat. Not saying that’s the only problem. But I see you blame Rs. Sounds petty.

No state is in worse shape than mine, Illinois! haha

Hopefully the recreational marijuana bill helps clean that is effective Jan 1 2020 and keeps minor offenses out of prison and out of the taxpayer's debt we've accumulated over the past 30+ years and finally get the hell out of debt like Washington, Colorado and other such states

Yep. Small business doesn't have the luxury of the government declaring them "too big to fail" so they can get that bail-out money a la GM, Chrysler, JP Morgan, etc.

Exactly.

Also, what was every business before it got big? Small.

The REPUBLICANS are to blame for the insane gas tax. Those are the guys and gals you seem to think will fix all of our problems. The current D governor is a schmuck but so was the last Rep governor. Have you looked at the country as of late? We are running out of money and need to raise the debt ceiling yet again. What is our debt these days? I used to walk past the ticketer on 44th Street in NYC that broke down our debt but I haven't seen it in a while. Back them it was crazy let alone now. I'll help you. We are at 22 trillion buckeroos. Local, State or Fed. We're screwed.

Actually I can and I've worked with people in those states and taxes were paid off very quickly and actually, the state had an abundance of money and paid out it to the people by lowering taxes and got a personal check submitted to them in cash, I'm all for that! Also every person is allowed to grow 5 plants legally and purchase up to 1 ounce, otherwise you will have to legally get licensed and provide a W-? whatever it is to be a business owner. Dare I ask what is the difference between that being able to buy hopps and great your own brew freely or grain to make hard alcohol but yet grow something from the earth, tax it?
