Too much grinding will be required and the caliper integrity may be jeopardized. Back to the stock calipers.

Booooo
After all that.

Have you considered a GT500 setup?

From FTR? I’m not fond of the spacers required.

I going to research Brembo, Wilwood, & Stoptech setups that are made for these cars.

Maybe some CCWs, or Iforged or TruForged type wheels that dont have a stupid lip inside the barrel, and those S197 brakes. Was inclined to hear your review on that brake setup (I already have the y2K Brembo setup on mine, but for general purpose/knowledge).

Yeah, I hear that. I have a pair of GT500 calipers, not sure if I want to sell them or install them.

Will be installed NA with a stock intake manifold, OPG’s, long tubes and E85 tune. Plan is to get the kinks worked then upgrade the fuel system for boost.

I was planning on holding off on the swap until the Cobra motor was sold, but my excitement may not allow me to be patient. I have a few odds and ends to grab, but I’m ready to get started.

Need to go burn off a half of tank of gas to make my life easier dropping the tank..

I bought rods and pistons to build the 4.6, but when this option presented itself the decision was easy. The newer technology is head and shoulders above the older stuff. Previous cars I’ve modded ran great at WOT, but didn’t always idle good, stay cool, etc. I’m excited to install the Coyote.

Would’ve started yesterday, but it was over 110 degrees outside and my garage was even hotter. Bought a portable AC unit.

I may start with the battery relocation and fuel pump today. Not sure where I want to place the battery though. I have a subwoofer on the passenger side and don’t want to block the inertia switch on the driver side. Might look at the spare tire well.

10,500 BTU unit didn’t cool the garage 1 degree! Felt cool standing 2” in front of the unit, but had no impact on the overall garage temp. Would love a split unit, but it would be visible sticking out the side of the garage from the street. Gotta sack up and get it done in the heat. Free sauna! Lol
